From the first kick-off on 12 June in São Paulo, all the way to the final minutes of the tournament on 13 July at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro; football fans everywhere will be on lockdown for the whole month. Most games will take place in the evening for fans in Europe. Ten of the twelve venues chosen in Brazil are three hours behind GMT and the remaining two are four hours behind. The group stage matches will be played at 13:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, 19:00 and 21:00 local time, with knockout stage matches at 13.00 and 17.00 local time. The semi-finals will be played at 17:00 local time and the Final, on 13 July 2014 will be played at 16:00 local time.
