With so many stellar names thrown around during the world’s biggest sporting tournament, who exactly shall shine through the immense talent and grab the World Cup Golden Ball? With odds being a fair manner to predict situations, we have analysed our own sportsbook page to bring up the current predictions for this accolade.

Although in recent years the Messi vs Ronaldo debacle has been brought up constantly and annoyingly, Neymar currently tops the list due to the player’s natural talent and chances of outperforming the rest in his own home with odds set at 9.00.

Following closely though is Argentinian magician Messi with odds set at 10.00. The fact that the player is also South American gives him the edge over his Portuguese nemesis, having been accustomed to the continent’s altitude and temperatures. Ronaldo comes in third place with odds set at 15, implying that the battle for the World Cup’s best player shall indeed be a South American one.

Meanwhile, Luis Suarez, Franck Ribery and Andres Iniesta come in joint fourth with odds of turning out to be the tournament’s best player set at 25.00 each. Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero follows with odds set at 29.00, whilst Chelsea and Belgium wunderkid Eden Hazard comes next with odds set at 30.00.

The list continues with stars such as Ozil, Gotze, Balotelli, Muller, Diego Costa and much more taken into consideration, yet the numbers show the eight which are mostly predicted to dazzle this summer.

Stay tuned to the sportsbook in order to keep yourself updated on who might outperform the rest this summer, whilst taking part in the betting fun using your own predictions.
